Choosing the right interface psa

Hello guys … Well I bring you a reliable answer … and probably one of the cheapest I could find so far

Low cost my version (Not fullchip never worked properly …) The 42 € on the site I give you later …

I therefore recommended urgent Fullchip Version to unlock a 206 that had lost its telecoding …

After reception and instalation from the CD provided by ting tong (Version scary01)

This one works 100% without any beug on my EeePC …

-> Allow 10 days of waiting before reception …

-> I would note though this interface 4/5 because it lacked the plug spring (do nothing prevents a static diag … but more hassle for LOG wheelchair …)

-> Super simple instalation scary under 01 (instalation V7.02 -> Can update “rather long” grace has MAJ V7.XX a 7.49 on the CD … and I’m Stops)

Reflash your PSA lexia3 cable to work with Diagbox 7.76

If you have lexia 3 cable clone with Lexia/PP2000/Diagbox software is not compatible with diagbox version greater than 7.02.

You probably know that we must re-flash the MCU internal EEPROM and the SPI that contains no problematic series. Here is the DIY tutorial on how to reflash your lexia3.

So far the only solution was to make a programming interface to reflash the MCU and desoldering SPI EEPROM to be able to reprogram on an EEPROM programmer.
You could do it yourself, but it is not accessible to everyone, and send it to someone who updates your interface to cost money.

As electronics and have already developed on the MCU used in this interface (MB90F546), I developed a special program which is injected into the interface through USB with PSA Interface Checker and allows the upgrade for it to be recognized usb com Evolution board and also change the serial number for a No. non blacklisted series. The interface then becomes compatible with the latest versions of diagbox 8)

If you are confronted with the version on your Lexia 3 diagbox v7.76 clamping interface and want the ‘upgrade, the procedure is as follows:

– You made me demand by private message, giving me your full personal details: name, address, and ideally the email address provided by your ISP.

This personal information I care little, but I need to put them in the file that I send you by email. The customization file with your personal information is used only to deter move the file to someone else, to avoid the spread of wild file on the Internet and prevent profiteers steal my work.

1) Once I have received your application and personal information, I prepare your custom upgrade file and I send it to you by email with the explanations to make updating your interface.

2) Upon receiving my file ‘upgrade in a few mouse clicks, your interface will be updated and compatible with diagbox 7.xx!

You probably read right or left this method update by USB is not good. It’s hype. Once the interface update by yourself with my method, it contains exactly the same firmware (4.3.0 + bootloader Board Com Evolution) by making hardware update (disassembly, reprogramming MCU, desoldering / reprogramming / ressoudage EEPROM). Regarding the serial number, I provided you a No random series that is different for everyone.

This is much better than no single series for everyone, even if existing, for if one day the manufacturer decides to blacklist the serial number, then all these interfaces are found inconsistent with the future versions diagbox !!

And at worst, if one day the serial number that I provided you can no longer work correctly with future versions of diagbox, and although it will be enough to remake me a request and I will provide a new update file to change by the usb serial number in eeprom, always without removing the interface

Using exp. with Lexia 3 PP2000 Diagnostic Interface

A friend of mine got a Lexia 3 and PP2000 not the latest version. He made some problem when update the diagbox. Following part displays the problem and solution.
Problem:
After got Lexia 3 PP2000 diagnostic interface, it asked for an update. He tried to install the diagbox on a Wi-Fi enabled Toshiba laptop running Windows XP Professional operating system, of course with a tutorial video. He found that he had to uninstall the PP2000 files manually because the control panel “Remove program” uninstaller did not work.
He had no problem with installing the diagbox application and running 5.02 patch. But problem occurred when restarted the diagbox and activated it. He failed to try several times. As the same time an error message displayed “ERROR LEXIA. Error during installation of Lexia. You have to reactivate to restart the installation.”
ERROR LEXIA
He had to consult the tech support and offered the best solution.
Solution:
Step 1 Put all Diagbox files into a certain folder, e.g Local Disk C:/
Step 2 Download IMGBurn
Step 3 Run IMGburn and make new image of the ONE Diagbox folder
Step 4 Click and open new image, then virtual clone driver MOUNT
Then update the Diagbox again and it ran no problem with activation.

Lexia 3 Diagbox v7.02 installation and activation error solution

One of the Lexia 3 v48 Peugeot Planet PP2000 v25 Diagbox v7.76 interface users came across lexia 3 Diagbox and turn to diyobd2.fr engineer for help. Following are the detail problem and solution provided.
Problem:
When installing and activating lexia 3 Diagbox software for PSA Peugeot and Citroen, the Lexia 3 interface program display an error message: (display picture below)
There was an AUTHENTIFICATION windows asked to enter the user name and password.
CONFIRMATION MESSAGE
Important: if you do not identify yourself. You will not be able to gain access to the operation requested…Do you wish to access this operation?
Possible reason:
From the software program, we can see that the Diagbox he installed is the 7.02 version. The Diagbox diagnostic software has not been completely installed.
Solution:
Re-install the Lexia-3 Diagbox software until the installation procedure is completed.
Better suggestion is to upgrade lexia 3 to the current Diagbox v7.76 version.

Citroen C3 climate and radiator fan error, what to do?

Lexia 3 found P0485 from 2004 Citroen C3 HDI:

Here I would like to share my experience troubleshoot climate and radiator fan issue. Hope it helps anyone.
I have 2004 C3 HDI, with smart fan 1253h3, has ABS with no esp and automatic climate. When I switch climate on or heat bar 3 dash warms and beeps 3 times and all the heat lights come on. I noticed that if engine warning light on everything is ok when engine warning light turn off on the dashboard fan not cuts in and the problem comes back. I changed engine heat sensor, thermostat, controlled all wiring (can bus wiring, fan power cables), changed relay.

But nothing solved the problem. Then I went to C3 forum for help, and a member told me to use Lexia 3 to pull up any error codes before changing parts and it can help guide to the point of the problem.

I bought a Lexia 3 scanner from a Chinese shop he recommended, hooked it up my C3 this morning and got a P0485 code. Below is a screenshot of Lexia 3 software (Diagbox 7.76) with the code.
On slow speed actuator it says faulty actuator. But sometimes fan cuts in. An interesting alternative description for P0485 is Cooling Fan Power/Ground Circuit Malfunction. It might be a fan or an ECU, I am not sure from a P code. But it is easier to try a new fan than try a new ECU. So I replaced the fan, and the clear the climate control problem is fixed.
